1964 chevrolet impala ss 409 4 speed

THE HOLY GRAIL

From the factory in its original beautiful bright Azure Aqua paint with black interior, 78,748 original miles. Features include 409 V-8 Turbo-Fire 340-hp engine, two four barrel carburetors, 4-speed manual transmission, Super Sport package, bucket seats, floor console, factory dash tachometer and posi-traction rear-end. This is one of the nicest un-restored original paint survivors out there. The original interior still looks and smells like new. Garage kept. Runs and drives excellent.

Tail shaft casting #3846429 (Presence of patent # and raised boss on tail shaft indicate late 1964 to early 1965.) 

*Cylinder heads and intake are not correct for this block. Correct top end would be a single 4 barrel intake and casting #3830817 cylinder heads. 

Differential Casting #3725899 Production date May of 1957 (incorrect) 

-7 inch balancer is incorrect-should be 6 inches. 

-Correct 3/8” fuel line and 1⁄4” return line are present but have been altered up front. 

-Correct 3/8” fuel sending unit with return, looks OE, fuel lines also look OE. 

-OE 4 inch thick fan shroud for 409 cars is present.
