HISTORY
Crossroads does not build cars for sale or auction. We choose our builds and our clients carefully. Such is the case with this 1967 Oldsmobile Holiday Coupe. This is the ultimate survivor. Our client bought this car for his mother after graduating college as a thank you. Then some months later, she ran it into the bank that secured the loan for the car.
After stripping the paint off the car it was obvious that the bank was not the only thing Mom had run into. Tons of old school slide hammer and bondo repairs spanning several decades. But wait, there's more. On the last visit, our client shared that this car had been put on its side during a hurricane. “Quite honestly, I'm not an old car guy. I'm not even in love with these cars, just this one” he shared.
That’s really all we needed to hear.
OUR APPROACH
Make it look like it always has but drive like a new car. Out with the Rocket 350 cid, in with a 455 fuel injected engine backed buy a 700R4, and the original 12 bolt rear end. Modern ride tech suspension on a powder coated perimeter chassis and vintage air. Route 66 anyone?
