1971 Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia Restoration
HISTORY
This car has been in the same family for over 30 years and has never left Austin, Texas. Originally owned by our client's Father-in-law, it sat for many years after his death. Our client wishes to restore the car to its former glory as a gift to his family. His 84-year-old Mother-in-Law is looking forward to a drive around Austin!
OUR APPROACH
Our intention is to restore this highly optioned Karmann-Ghia back to factory correct, just as it rolled off the showroom floor in 1971. It will need a complete engine overhaul in addition to extensive body, paint, and interior work. When we are finished with the restoration, this family will have an heirloom to pass down for many years to come.
